Primary responsibilities will include:
- Processing work orders for new jobs
- Calculating finished goods dimensions and raw material requirements
- Receiving raw material fabrics and trim items
- Warehousing raw material fabrics and trim items
- Spreading and cutting fabric
- Picking trim item components for the production order
- Surging panels
- Attaching trim headers to mesh
- Setting grommets into headers
- Hemming cut work to finished length
- Sewing in drapery hooks
- Sewing in side trim in mesh
- Inspecting and measuring finished goods
- Folding finished goods
- Packing finished goods
- Processing shipments in FedEx work station
Qualifications :
The required skills for this position are:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Seamstress experience and/or training preferred
- Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
